Dr. John Han

Dr. John Han brings over 18 years of specialized experience in dental implant surgery and comprehensive dental care to our practice. As a recognized leader in implant dentistry, Dr. Han has dedicated his career to mastering the art and science of dental implants, bone grafting, and full-mouth rehabilitation.

After completing his undergraduate studies at The College of William and Mary in 1997, Dr. Han travelled in Korea and around Asia for two years before pursuing post-baccalaureate education at Virginia Commonwealth University and ultimately receiving his doctor of dental medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Since beginning his practice in Reston in 2010, he has focused intensively on advancing his expertise in dental implant surgery and restoration.

Dr. Han’s commitment to excellence in implant dentistry has led him to serve as a mentor and educator at the prestigious Colorado Surgical Institute, where he trains dentists from across the country in advanced implant surgery and bone grafting techniques. His dedication to continuing education and professional development is evident through his active participation in specialized study clubs with leading regional specialists and regular attendance at premier dental conferences.

What sets Dr. Han apart is his philosophical approach to patient care. He believes in educating patients beyond the basics, ensuring they truly understand not just their immediate treatment options, but how to maintain their oral health for a lifetime. Outside the office, Dr. Han can be found spending time with his beautiful wife and three amazing children. Most of his time these days is spent driving his three children around while learning all that he can through podcasts and audiobooks. When not driving, he likes to go rock climbing, spend time talking with friends and family, snowboarding, and breathing fresh air.
