At or before your appointment, you will swallow a small pill previously prescribed to you by Dr. Han. Once the sedative begins to work, we will help you sit back in the dental chair and get comfortable with dental amenities.
Nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, is administered at the beginning of your procedure. A breathing mask is placed over your nose, and you will inhale the safe gas throughout your appointment. A feeling of euphoria will come over you, and you will remain awake but unaware of the details of the procedure. After your visit, the gas will wear off quickly and you may even be able to drive yourself home.
